. . . until the seeds and pulp lift out.  Once seeded, the squash is easy to slice, cube and dice.   

. . . then, starting at one end, dig down and under the seed cavity and push spoon down the length of cavity . . .  

For larger or older squash, the seeds may be too large for comfortable eating.  Scoop them out along with any surrounding pulp.  Note that a sharp-edge ice cream scoop works well for this task if you have one.
